The Sheet Metal course will impart the knowledge for you to quickly design high quality sheet metal parts. You will learn to create sheets, add lips, hems and offsets and to use standard tools from a library of punches and stamps. Learn to select standard materials and tools so that you know your design will be manufacturable by performing manufacturability checks at each design stage. You will also learn how to extract on-line cost estimates so you can evaluate the financial impact of different sheet metal design alternatives.

Designers and Engineers who are creating sheet metal parts, such as cases, racks, and packaging for electronic devices, etc. Sheet Metal Design capability requires the appropriate application license to be enabled for operation at your site. This is also a great class to evaluate the extended capabilities of OneSpace Designer Modeling's Sheet Metal module.

This course requires the prior completion of the Beginner's Modeling or SolidDesigner courses and highly recommends the prior completion of the Annotation course. Note: The Sheet Metal module requires the appropriate license in order to be enabled.
